A nap
Sleep.
A nap
Sleeping
taking a 20 minute nap- but those good ones that you fall asleep immediately and wake up not knowing if u slept for 20 mins or 12 hrs
Vasovagal syncope. Typically seen on those “funny”” carnival ride videos where they are shot into the air by the giant slingshot and they faint.
Power naps are the shizzle
Concussion. Hit the back of my head, lights went out. Came back black and white vision which went back to color gradually. Sounds were not there at first then it was garbeled then back to normal. Also had no idea who, what, when I was but that came back gradually. All of this happened in the span of about a min or two. Only real time I can say I was truly terrified. Not knowing anything for even a split second really did a number on me.
Food poisoning. Your insides are kinda starting anew.

A vacation of at least two consecutive weeks. Learned this one in therapy. You need to reach the point on vacation where you can’t remember where work left off. The singer Wayne Newton went to the same therapist I did and said this advice saved him from a nervous breakdown. He thought that because he only worked 3 nights a week in Vegas he was getting plenty of mental rest, but he wasn’t. He learned he needed to take breaks long enough that he starts forgetting lyrics to songs.
