Sex addiction. Everyone I’ve known says it’s harder than drugs or alcohol to overcome.
It’s got to be Gambling, right?
Man, I’ve seen gambling absolutely wreck lives.
Any addiction can ruin lives.
Constantly being on our phones
Other ones that screw your health.
I’m bulimic and struggling to break free from it after over a decade of it. To me it’s an addiction. When I’m stressed I turn to food to binge, but then I have to get rid of it because the fear of weight gain is bigger than the fear of screwing my health (in that moment). Starting to suffer from it physically now I’m almost 30.
I’d say food
Sugar. Too much of the stuff can cause higher blood pressure, inflammation, weight gain, diabetes, and fatty liver disease. On par with alcohol without the inebriated effects.
Maybe not the “worst” cuz its subtle and just fcks with you on the inside but being addicted to people (especially those you can’t “have”).
It’s horrible and you end up getting obsessive and base your behaviour around off-set factors of the version you think they might like of you.
Micro transactions, im being serious here back in year13 (senior year) i spent most my EMA on pokemon go and most the time it was for the short lived pleasure of haveing the coins
Oxygen. It gets so bad that people can’t live without it. Sad, really.
Sex in general
Options. If you know, you know
Food. Not an addiction you can go cold turkey on, it’s constantly around and you need it.
Addiction to a toxic relationship, by far. It’s called a trauma bond.
