Log in to Reply Love it Log in to Reply So peaceful..days eating out alone make me extremely happy.. I feel like a gta character.. Log in to Reply Do you mean eating alone at a restaurant? Log in to Reply Okay? I prefer eating at home where the only people staring at me are animals. Log in to Reply I get it and have no problem with it whatsoever but I’m always going to get take out and eat on my couch instead of in the restaurant, I don’t know why you wouldn’t do that. Log in to Reply I prefer it tbh. I actually hate conversations while eating. I want to be able to maximize my food enjoyment. Log in to Reply Not recommended for datings. Log in to Reply Perfect. Log in to Reply I might feel a bit uncomfortable at a formal place but anywhere else I wouldn’t care. Just wear headphones and play on your phone Log in to Reply About the only way i dine…. Log in to Reply LOVE IT. I usually take a big book along, but I don’t always read it. Log in to Reply I felt awkward at first but I got more comfortable with it over time. Just enjoy yourself and people will stop staring. Log in to Reply More bread and salad for me Log in to Reply I do it all the time Log in to Reply I seriously don’t get this concern. Where are people getting this expectation that eating needs to be a social activity. I’ve never had any “thoughts” about solo dining because it’s no different than dining with someone else. Log in to Reply I don’t mind it. As a server I like it cause if you seem friendly I’ll joke around with just you and get to know you. As for just me going out to eat I don’t mind it either. After a long shift or if I’m just looking to not make food at home, it doesn’t bother me to go alone. Don’t have to wait on anybody else or try and work with their schedules. Log in to Reply Dude its great. I went to eat the other week on my own no wife and kids. Grabbed some hot and sour soup, teppanyaki, and a nice pina colada. In and out at the bar in 30 mins. No fuss. Log in to Reply People gotta eat, if it means going out and eating alone, then that’s fine. Who am I to judge? Log in to Reply I don’t have a problem with it. I often bring a book for company. It requires a certain kind of quiet confidence, though, or it can be slightly intimidating. Especially if people give you curious looks. Log in to Reply I did it all the time. It’s peaceful. Log in to Reply It’s good but I suppose I get a bit anxious about being judged. Log in to Reply Dude, the ability to sit in a restaurant and enjoy my meal without small talk or children babbling at me is like the best feeling in the world. I love my wife and love going to dinner with her, but there is a peacefulness in a silent meal at the bar that I can’t get anywhere else. Log in to Reply Like eating out somewhere alone? My preferred way to dine. Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel replyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
