Gangster… I love it…
you do you man, idc
I do it, I like that sometimes but deep down it makes me sad not to be able to share that moment with someone.
I tried it once when I was going through a mental rough patch, honestly made me feel tonnes better and I ended up having a really good day
love it. being able to enjoy your own company is a nice feeling.
Nothing wrong with that. Kudos to those who do it.
What are the other options?
it’s fine
i can join you any time
I mean a glass of whine of whiskey and something love i love to eat’s what else you need man? I mean really you need anything else?
I like it, don’t get me wrong I love going out for food with my friends but sometimes its nice to just have that P+Q.
I do it often 😂
I sit at the bar. Every now and then you meet a person and have an incredible conversation.
Love it
So peaceful..days eating out alone make me extremely happy.. I feel like a gta character..
Do you mean eating alone at a restaurant?
Okay? I prefer eating at home where the only people staring at me are animals.
I get it and have no problem with it whatsoever but I’m always going to get take out and eat on my couch instead of in the restaurant, I don’t know why you wouldn’t do that.
I prefer it tbh. I actually hate conversations while eating. I want to be able to maximize my food enjoyment.
Not recommended for datings.
Perfect.
I might feel a bit uncomfortable at a formal place but anywhere else I wouldn’t care. Just wear headphones and play on your phone
About the only way i dine….
LOVE IT. I usually take a big book along, but I don’t always read it.
I felt awkward at first but I got more comfortable with it over time. Just enjoy yourself and people will stop staring.
More bread and salad for me
I do it all the time
I seriously don’t get this concern. Where are people getting this expectation that eating needs to be a social activity. I’ve never had any “thoughts” about solo dining because it’s no different than dining with someone else.
I don’t mind it. As a server I like it cause if you seem friendly I’ll joke around with just you and get to know you.
As for just me going out to eat I don’t mind it either. After a long shift or if I’m just looking to not make food at home, it doesn’t bother me to go alone. Don’t have to wait on anybody else or try and work with their schedules.
Dude its great. I went to eat the other week on my own no wife and kids. Grabbed some hot and sour soup, teppanyaki, and a nice pina colada. In and out at the bar in 30 mins.
No fuss.
People gotta eat, if it means going out and eating alone, then that’s fine. Who am I to judge?
I don’t have a problem with it. I often bring a book for company. It requires a certain kind of quiet confidence, though, or it can be slightly intimidating. Especially if people give you curious looks.
I did it all the time. It’s peaceful.
It’s good but I suppose I get a bit anxious about being judged.
Dude, the ability to sit in a restaurant and enjoy my meal without small talk or children babbling at me is like the best feeling in the world. I love my wife and love going to dinner with her, but there is a peacefulness in a silent meal at the bar that I can’t get anywhere else.
Like eating out somewhere alone? My preferred way to dine.
