What’s your weirdest “comfort movie?” I used to watch the original miniseries of Stephen King’s “IT” when I was home sick from school. Anyone else have a strange comfort movie?

“The Devil’s Advocate”. I know every word and scene. It’s a bit sad.
Tremors
Any Wallace and Gromit film or short.
*Spotlight*. It’s bizarre to rewatch a movie about a child sex abuse scandal for comfort, but I find spending two hours with good people doing the right thing in the face of pressure to do otherwise incredibly comforting.
Not a movie, but *Stephen King’s Kingdom Hospital*. The remake of the original *Lars Von Trier* show.
It’s definitely got a kind of surreal, cosy, slightly silly kind of atmosphere about it.
Alien lol
the mid-2000s comedy “accepted”. it’s trash. i’ve loved it since middle school.
(the miniseries IT is such a good one, though. the bike scene with bill and mike always gets me)
The Stupids… Always made me laugh and forget life
Camp Nowhere, or TMNT 2: the Secret of the Ooze (as a child)
