  1. Literally 2 days ago, Gorillaz! Loved it and so happy I could go! (I’m 23 and wish I rebelled against fam to go when I was younger, wasn’t allowed to go anywhere like that)

  2. The Eagles’ *Hotel California* tour. Pablo Cruise opened up. Steve Miller Band was the middle show and The Eagles headlined. Outdoor in the old Met Stadium in Bloomington, MN. We broke an outdoor concert attendance record with 65,000+ people. Massive thunderstorm during Steve Miller, we all picked up the tarps on the field and stood under them.

Also the first full ounce of pot i bought for myself for $40…

    Great memories!

  3. Queen at Liverpool Empire in 1979, bunked school.to hang around to see band going in,got a copy of”crazy little thing called love” signed by Brian May and Roger Taylor(dunno where Freddie and John where)

  4. Dave Matthews Band, Giants Stadium, July 11, 2000

I bought tickets by signing up on this new website Ebay. I wasn’t 18 yet so I used my dad’s name. Had to snail mail the scalper a money order.

  5. Cannibal Corpse headlined, but I went to see Job For A Cowboy as my first concert.

JFAC finished their set and I went out to chat with some friends as Cannibal Corpse was starting up – maybe two songs in. No one I was with was really into them. Sadly as I’m walking out of the room the singer suggested that the ladies in the audience take their tops off and from what I understand quite a few complied. Fifteen year old me missed out on a bunch of boobs. Such a bummer.

  6. Guardin,2020, ditched work for it and drove 4 hours to Tennessee for it, all by myself, and surprisingly was the best experience. I didn’t need anyone to have some fun

  7. Flogging Molly, about 12 years ago I think. Also, it was the first time I ever killed a whole fifth of whiskey in a single drinking session. And also the last time.

  8. Sometime in the 80. A local oldies radio station used to do an “Ultimate Oldies” concert at Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium. I got to see and absurd list of great acts…Paul & Ringo, Aretha, and many others.

  9. I hate to admit it, but Donny Osmond in (I think) 1973. I was like 4 years old.

My older sister was in love with Donny Osmond. Parents took her, and basically had nobody to watch me, so I went too.

I still have the folding binocular / opera glasses my dad bought for me from a vendor. We were pretty far back; I can’t recall exactly where it was (it might have been the old Chicago Stadium) but it was packed. All I can remember was that I was fixated on Donny’s purple sparkly socks.

[I’d like to add that my all time favorite show was Tom Petty on the *Full Moon Fever* tour. A new opening act had just joined him in the middle of the tour, and people were like “who’s that?” That was Lenny Kravitz, who absolutely killed it that night.]
