  1. Myself and my environment – as people around me grew up and got better at detecting it, I put more effort into hiding it. Repeat that for my ages 7-15, and the fact that I’m still going, means I’ll probably not slow down any time soon

  2. Jeff Bezos taught me during his 18th January 2015 tour of the local Amazon distribution centre, he was an eccentric billionaire and I was a young and hopeful employee, he took me under his wing and said “kid, you’re gonna go far, but first you have to learn how to make a good, believable lie”.

He showed me the ropes, told me all about how to make believable lies, choosing a specific date, giving some backstory and throwing in fake quotes for additional effectiveness, before tying it off with a summarising ending.

He went on to teach me everything I could possibly need to succeed, and became an unofficial father figure in my life, he still attends the family barbecue every summer.

  3. My mother. She wouldn’t let me hang out with the friends I wanted to hang with. (Who knows, she may have been right) So all friends became “Andrea”, and I hung out with “her” alot.
