Darth Vader.
Hans Gruber
Anton Chigurh
Hades from Hercules (1997)
I often resonate with his frustrations
Hannibal Lecter
Scar
Joker from The Dark Knight
The joker
I like an eloquent but ruthless villain so characters like
Hans Landa, John Doe, Shir Khan etc
Frank Booth.
Keyser Söze from The Usual Suspects
Jigsaw
Thanos in Infinity War is another great one.
Luke Skywalker.
He committed mass murder when he blew up the death star and when the weight of all that terrorism finally hit him, he became a hermit on a remote island.
Sweeney Todd
In my opinion, Tiffany Valentine-Ray. Looks sweet but will kill you in a millisecond
hm let’s go with dr. facilier !
The NWA
The Jokers (the dark night version) an obvious choice
Elle Woods. That woman destroyed Warner Huntington III’s life.
Its a tie between Stephen, as played by Samuel L Jackson in Django Unchained, and Alex, as played by Malcolm McDowell in A Clockwork Orange.
I’m going with Hans Landa. He’s irredeemable in his villainy. The complete arc of his character from zealot to sell-out is entirely in his own self interest.
When we first meet him he’s on a power trip and proudly brags about his nickname, “The Jew Hunter.” By the movies end he’s come to disdain the label. Not because he murdered innocent people but because it pigeonholed him and he felt unfairly defined him by one aspect of his job. In this sense he’s the perfect depiction of bureaucratic “mundane” evil.
