  1. the most frequent argument i’ve seen is to support the creator

and while i don’t pay for porn, i do patreon a youtube person who puts out all his videos for free. only person i’ve ever done it for and the reason why? because i’m really fucking impressed with the job he does

  2. I think some people like the more personal feel to it. Instead of just watching random videos online, this allows them to chat with and see daily/weekly/monthly content from them.

  3. You like someone’s work so much that you want to chip in financially to ensure they keep doing it. Basically the same reason why some people donate to their favorite YouTuber’s Patreon.

  4. Several possible reasons:

    1. You want to see that specific person. I think a lot of people have someone in their university class, at their work etc that they’d pay a few dollars to see nude completely anonymously.

    2. It’s interactive. The free porn on the internet doesn’t offer custom content, or do live shows where you can chat while they do their thing.

    3. You like to be seen. The free porn on the internet doesn’t offer cam-to-cam where the pornstar watches you getting off to them while encouraging you.

  5. The personal aspect, getting to know someone as a “normal” person first. I think this especially rings true for those who are demisexual or adjacent, as it might be hard to feel attraction to a random creator on pornhub.

Wanting to support specific creators, show appreciation, help them make more.

Maybe you have a specific kink or niche you’re looking for that is hard to find. Or perhaps you want a video made custom for your interests.

Not everyone does this of course, but there conversation as well. Getting attention from your favourite creator can feel nice.

  6. I saw a tiktok about this and someone said “that person didn’t sit behind me in 9th grade math” so I would say it’s more “regular” girls and it’s mostly creepy manchildren who know you personally paying for your content

  7. I’ve done it twice. The first time was because she had two vaginas and I had to see it for myself. The second time was because it was someone I knew, but I didn’t keep it for long after I realised she basically used it as a more risqué version of instagram.

  8. I don’t care about supporting small bussiness. But some OFs creators are not well known at all but make some good content that can’t be found for free elsewhere because nobody cares enough to post it for free and spread it.

  9. Because they know they have no shot at a porn star, but think because they pay a girl to see some pics or whatever that he has a shot with her or that she actually likes him. She doesn’t like you, this is her job, she will tell you anything you want to hear to get paid, the more she lies to you the more she gets paid.

  10. Never paid for it myself, but I could imagine there is an element of perceived control.
“I’ve paid her to do that..” giving a rather warped sense of intimacy.

Not judging. I’m sure the creators know that this happens and that they have the real power in the “relationship”

  11. Because people like the attention, like to feel they are noticed, that others care about them, that they matter. A porn start won’t give you a shout out normally. You are paying for a “friendship”.

  12. Why do people donate to YouTubers? Twitch streamers? The big channels make millions per year and yet Tommy who makes $8 an hour donates his money.

Some people crave attention and a personal connection

  13. Because men have become frail, and in becoming so, they are also blind and became Impossible to comprehend how this can affect the chances they have a relationship.
