  1. **Stress Relief 101**

    Picture yourself near a stream.

    Birds are chirping softly in the crisp, cool mountain air.

    Nothing can bother you here. No one knows this secret place.

    You are in total seclusion from that place called “the world.”

    The soothing sound of a gentle waterfall fills the air with a
    cascade of serenity.

    The water is clear.

    You can easily make out the face of the person whose head
    you are holding under the water.

    Look. It’s the person who caused you all the stress in the first place.

    What a pleasant surprise. You let them up ….. just for a quick breath,
    then ….. PLOOP ! ….. back under they go …..

    You allow yourself as many deep breaths as you want.

    There now ….. Feeling better ?

I have a happy pond in my head, comfort characters that cheer me up when I see them, comfort movies that just make me so happy, that gd song from Madagascar just hits so good I can’t feel bad, a handheld tape recorder I can vent into, some yoga is actually nuts awesome, and when worst comes to worst I have stuff for a bubble bath.

    With all that you’d think I’m set. But then my depression convinces me none of it works so I rarely seek any of it out. But every single time I use literally any of the above it fucking helps. Lolololol

  3. Heavy weightlifting. Everything you got for 1 rep. This helps me.

    Second, Rap/ Hip-Hop while driving home from work. The kind of music I wouldn’t want my kids listening to. 🤣
