  1. This assumes you have basics like salt, pepper, oil, sugar, vinegar.

    Appetizer : fresh baked Italian bread, 1 Roma tomatoes, half an onion, basil.

    Make a bruscetta, toast sliced bread, dice tomatoes, onions, salt pepper olive oil and red wine vinegar or balsamic vinegar. If you only have white vinegar you can just add some sugar, dash of water, paprika for color., top with basil. About 4 bucks.

    Entree: 2lbs of chicken thighs (at 1.99 lb, 4 bucks)
    2 boxes of pasta ( dollar tree, 2 bucks)
    Onion, garlic, parsley, basil, 2 cans of whole tomatoes ( if you buy by the lb, small portions about 6 bucks)

    Brine chicken overnight in sugar/salt/ water brine. Brown in a cast iron pan with olive oil, don’t cook all the way, remove chicken, toss in diced onions, garlic, can of hole tomatoes and crushed add some parsley salt and pepper. Cool til onions are sweating, add chicken on top bake in oven until chicken is done (20 minutes at 375, play with time and temp).

    Boil pasta in sales water with olive oil, under cook it. When chicken is done remove chicken again and set aside, toss in under cooked pasta in the sauce you made, add a table spoon of pasta water and finish pasta in sauce. Transfer to large serving plate, top pasta with chicken, sprinkle parsley.

    Desert needs to be made in the morning, but those are the ingredients to make flan, you may want to add a teaspoon of vanilla extract.

    Ingredients: Can condensed milk, can evaporated milk, sugar, 6 pack of eggs (all at dollar tree), make a flan for desert. 4 bucks.

    Mix all ingredients except sugar into a bowl. Whisk to add air into the custard mix.

    1 cup of sugar in a pan, medium heat to make a caramel sauce, don’t burn it.

    Put caramel sauce in a baking pan, pour over custard mix, put that entire baking ban into a larger baking pan Halfway filled with water.

    Co at 325 for like 45 minutes or until done, let it cool down then transfer to fridge, serve cold.
