I work at a pizza place and the least ordered item on our menu is pepperoni.
Peoples’ reasons for ordering it:
– I’m not a fan of sausage
– I hate mushrooms
The least ordered item on our menu is probably the veggie burger. It’s not that it isn’t delicious – it’s a really tasty burger with lots of flavor – but I think people just don’t know what to expect from it. It’s something they haven’t tried before and they’re hesitant to take a chance on something new. Plus, most people don’t think of a veggie burger as being particularly filling, so they’re more likely to go for something like a hamburger or chicken sandwich.
I don’t work there anymore but our soups were the least ordered because we used a microwave to reheat them up and they sit in our fridge for up to 7 days. The soups would change every month.
I have a menu with a bunch of different types of pickles. No one orders pickles.
Breadsticks and salad. We’re a wing joint, it’s weird we even have breadsticks. We have no marinara for the breadsticks. Why do we sell breadsticks?
Back when I worked at a restaurant:
Lau Lau Pork. It was too expensive for what you get. Many customers also didn’t know what it was and would prefer the kalua pork over it.
