Their lives are basically meaningless drudgery and this wakes up a part of their lizard brain that makes them feel actually alive.
Alcohol
Primal rage
Low IQ/impulsive archetype combined with severe disappointment having their ego tied to a team that is now a loser results in the blinding rage that overpowers what little impulse control they have and like they children they are throw a violent and destructive tantrum.
Stupid people loaded up on alcohol given objective proof that “their team” (whatever the fuck that means, I’ve never understood it) has failed, so everyone else has to suffer. It’s tribalist bullshit and humanity at it’s worst, but it makes money, so we encourage it all.
They’re violent animals that need to be incarcerated.
What makes people riot period. It’s primal group think. In a world with so many rules, constrictions, pressures. Sometimes the primate loses its shit in the figurative cage known as society.
That’s silly, they also riot when they win. And before the game even starts. Big sports is a riot I tells ya.
I don’t really see that happen. It’s when the fans take to the streets in celebration of a victory that sometimes gets out of control. There are bad people who will take advantage of the situation, and things like looting start.
