You can’t go to elementary school without a damn bulletproof vest, you have to sell your soul to banks to get a higher education, and you have to ask yourself if you can afford the ambulance if you are really ill. How can someone still consider the United States the best country in the world?

TIL a man named McArthur Wheeler robbed 2 banks by putting on Lemon Juice on his face thinking he is invisible as long as he isn’t facing direct heat. He thought so since lemon juice is used as invisible ink to write secret letters. When police booked a confused him he said “but I wore the juice!”

TIL the Yellow River’s infamous floods aren’t the river simply overflowing its banks and returning to its original course. When uncontrolled, the river changes course frequently and wildly; some episodes see the river’s mouth shift as far as 480 km.
