TIL in WWII 250,000 Filipinos fought for The Allies and were promised benefits like other soldiers, but in 1946 Truman signed the Rescission Act of 1946 which denies all Filipino soldiers their benefits. The Philippines was the only country out of 66 who fought for The Allies to get rejected.
