TIL of Fritz Von Erich and his wrestling dynasty. He had six sons, five of whom died before 35. Jack died in childhood in a freak accident, David died of enteritis at 25, and Mike, Chris and Kerry all committed suicide due to mental and physical issues relating to their careers and upbringing.

TIL: about Nebraskas “safe haven” law that didn’t have an age limit to drop off unwanted babies. A wave of children, many teenagers with behavioral issues, were dropped off. It has since been amended.

TIL The lead singer of the Gin Blossoms was forced out of the band due to addictions issues, and the record company withheld $15k owed to him until he signed over most his royalties. Shortly after the band scored a hit single with one his songs. He committed suicide a few months later.

TIL of Carlos, Prince of Asturias. Due to him having four great-grandparents instead of the maximum of eight, he had numerous issues such as roasting animals alive and whipped a serving girl when he was eleven. He became so mentally unstable that he died in solitary confinement at 23 years old.
