TIL: Robert Wadlow standing at 8’11” will be the tallest man ever forever. With modern advancements in medicine in place, it is highly unlikely pituitary issue more extreme than Robert Wadlow’s will remain untreated by doctors.

TIL that placebos have been found to be an effective treatment for pain perception. A placebo treatment given to people who chronically suffer from migraine headaches was found to be just as effective as a widely used migraine drug, according to a study published in Science Translational Medicine.
