  1. He invested 10,000 dollars in the project in 1902 which would be 326,000 according to several inflation algorithms. I’ve been 115 mph on a motorcycle and I buried the needle on gramps 1972 Ford Thunderbird with a 429 cubic inch beast at 140 mph against my cousin’s 1972 Monte Carlo. We were on a 2 mile straight away in a very rural area with maybe one car an hour at night
