TIL about India’s tallest captive elephant Thechikottukavu Ramachandran, owned by Thechikottukavu devasom, a temple in the Indian state of Kerala. Thechi stands at 316 cm tall and is the largest captive elephant in India. He is fondly named Ekachatradhipathi (The Only Emperor) by his fans.
