TIL Ferruccio Lamborghini was drafted into the Italian Royal Air Force in WWII. By 1948, he went on to building affordable tractors. A feud was sparked between Ferrari and Lamborghini which motivated Ferruccio to build his own line of sports cars we know today as Lamborghinis.
