Wow.
I recently read in a German magazine that the exceedingly cruel and brutal punishments meted out in medieval time were less meant to be a deterrent and more intended to be the ultimate humilation of the condemmed. Often the crowds wold try to keep them alive to maximize the suffering.
I would like to think that the name becomes Putinlette in years to come.
