Sanford & Son was one of those very rare times the US tried to remake a hit UK comedy and got it right. It was a very good take on the original, and it’s a shame it’s not really very known on this side of the pond.
Him and LaWanda page (aunt Esther), were both comedians before the show. Look her up, and leave your morality at the door. Good stuff.
