TIL that there was a 4th Crusade to retake Jerusalem. However, the crusaders got sidetracked and ended up sacking Constantinople, capital of the Christian controlled Byzantine Empire, and they ended up getting excommunicated.

Did you know there were crusades that had nothing at all to do with Jerusalem?
Personally love the one where the Teutonic Knights got curb stomped for being arrogant, though that castle made out of clay tiles is a sight to see.
