LOST was the first DVD set I ever bought, and I remember thinking the first episode was called Pilot because they go find the cockpit/front section of the plane in the jungle and the pilot gets killed by the smoke monster, not because a pilot is the first episode of a show.

Holy shit that show pissed me off. The last season? FUUUUUCK the last season. Game of Thrones had a better last season.
May have overspent on it, but Lost was an amazing show. So the Exec should get serious credit for backing a winner. Great show.
