TIL the West Virginia town of Vulcan couldn’t get any funds to repair a failing bridge during the Cold War so they wrote to the USSR and requested aid. Once someone from the Soviet Union came out to survey, the State government then passed legislation to have funds to repair the bridge.

Sounds like treason. If you wessvirginans are gonna keep Manchin in office so he can keep tanking an agenda that will help all Americans including your welfare state, maybe you should fix your own bridges. Tie them together with your bootstraps and banjo strings.
