They don’t actually ring your doorbell. They have a loud speaker on the truck that plays the doorbell sound effect when they are leaving your driveway.

I catch ours on our video doorbell, he doesn’t instantly teleport but he does move at an impressive speed. UPS should give him a raise.
The Amazon guy usually stands for a moment, takes a picture of the neighbour’s house across the street and then leaves. Then I wander over to the neighbour and she hands me my package and we make some snarky comment about how Amazon always delivers my packages to the wrong house.
It’s obvious. They know the layout of your house and how long it would take you to get to the door. Knowing this, they drop the package and sprint back to their truck so you can wave them off as they go.

Ring the doorbell? Delivery people ring the doorbell? Retired, and home virtually all the time. They hardly ever ring the doorbell.
I think they just have a special device that they can use to activate the doorbell from the car…
