Eating more unprocessed foods. Cheaper, more filling, healthier. E.g. oats, potatoes, rice, beans
Got out of a bad relationship. The weight shed off!
Cocaine really helps
Intermittent fasting worked for me. I also completely cut out pop and cut down on wine/beer.
Cut out all liquids other than water. Made a big difference . All drinks today are basically sugar bombs.
Rather than taking the bus everywhere I just started walking.
I got a heart rate monitor and did cardio for 45 minutes at a sustained 125 beats per minute, every other day. (Took me a few weeks to work up to that, first 110, then 115, etc.)
Combined with cutting out sodas and junk food, I dropped about five pounds a month for four months.
Moderate exercise daily – stopped having a drink or two at night. Might have a couple drinks a couple nights a week
80/20 rule all day. 80 percent of the time, eat healthy low carb/non processed foods. 20 percent of the time, eat whatever you want
No carbs or very low at dinner, only for breakfast and lunch. Started eating more vegs, fruits and drinking water when I felt hungry. Dropped weed (munchies) and alcohol. Then started hitting the gym 3 times a week. Lost 22 pounds in 4 months and I still can eat Pizza or food like that once or twice a week.
Portion control for me really works and I also switched to using smaller plates for all my food. Never had to cut out anything delicious just made sure I was eating a smaller portion of it. Also counting my calories and making sure I’m within my daily limit
Got divorced
Ate once a day, removed any liquid calorie intake and junk food
I stopped drinking pop and started drinking juices that were non cocktail. Most of the time it was grapefruit juice
I stopped ordering takeout and learned how to cook
I got rid of sugar and carbs. -25kg in a year
Drinking more water honestly
I put down the fork
