By not giving them any attention
Let them show off and make a fool of themself, its even better if they dont realise it.
Just ignore them. They’re most likely compensating for something.

Manipulate them into a situation where they will humiliate themselves.
If you can, ignore them. If you can’t, beat ‘em to it by blowing a ton of smoke up their asses and then they don’t feel the need to show you how great they are.
Enjoy the show. Who cares, it’s probably just your ego that drives your distaste for the actions of others.
I don’t know what’s worst. ‘Show off’ people or ‘one up’ people. ‘Show off’ people you can easily ignore,but with ‘one up people’ you’re already in a conversation with.
This was a perfect example of a ‘one up person’
Take a long shower and argue with your soaps and whatnot to figure out what you should have said lmao
If you don’t know how to handle them there and then you probably won’t be able to manipulate them into situations they’re not comfortable with
