  1. From Dusk Til Dawn.

My mother taped it for me off the TV and I played it so many times that the tape finally ate itself. It was funny when I finally bought the DVD and went “where did all this swearing and nudity come from?!”

  2. Harry Potter and the sorcerers stone. I got grounded for a month for bad grades which never improved lol. So all my games/movies got taken away but I managed to snag sorcerers stone before confiscation. I watched it almost every night on my portable DVD player under the covers.

  3. In the early 80’s when HBO first came out, they allowed you to tape movies onto your VCR before they got wise and stopped allowing it. So:

Sixteen Candles, Breakfast Club, Trading Places, Weird Science, Rodney Dangerfield Young Comedians Special (Rosanne Barr, Sam Kinison, Bob Saget), Bill Cosby Himself standup special. We were latchkey kids so we spent our summers watching these on repeat. Can quote any line from any of these, still to this day.
