TIL a coal power plant gives off at least ten times more radiation than a nuclear power plant due to the elements in the ash.

Regulations are so strict on the amount of radiation allowed to be released in the environment by nuclear reactors, should the US Capital building apply to be a reactor, it would be rejected due to the amount of radiation released from the buildings granite walls.
It’s really a horrible tragedy what anti nuclear activists have done
