  1. That doesn’t sound like much, but trains leaving early suck. I used to walk to the train every day. I never missed it, but there was probably at least one time every week where I got to the station as the train was pulling in… Leaving 25 seconds early would have most definitely screwed me one time or another

  2. I mean if you’re used to relying on such strict timing 25 seconds early is probably worse that 25 seconds late. You can just speed up a bit to make up for the latter but if you missed the train you missed the train
