TIL A young Leonardo Da Vinci was told to paint an angel next to his teacher’s angel in a painting, his teacher was so embarrassed by how much better Da Vinci’s angel was that he quit painting forever.

An important note is that his art teacher was not just anyone, he was one of the most important artists in Florence, Andrea del Verrocchio was an art master who is known for making the Equestrian statue of Bartolomeo Colleoni which is known to be a masterpiece.
