TIL Alan Shepard was 47 during Apollo 14 and was told he was “too old” to walk on the moon as he was the oldest astronaut to have flown in space at the time. He hadn’t flown anything for ten years since 1961 and had been diagnosed with a rare condition of the inner ear called Meniere’s disease

That’s preposterous! Michael Jackson had no trouble moonwalking at that age.
Hey, that’s why Huey Lewis doesn’t perform anymore.
That disease can be menace for when you make a trip that goes through a tunnel, let alone to the moon. I won’t see my stepfather doing that.
Alan Shepard is also the reason (From what i could find) why the diocese of Orlando is the biggest in the world.
