Well yeah it got colonized by the British. Don’t they burn up in the sun? (I say this as someone lighter than British people)
Fun fact: Most forms of skin cancer are harmless if diagnosed in time.
I heard recently that NZ has overtaken us in per capita rates. I’d say that has a lot to do with the awareness programs in Australia and policies like no hat no play in schools and strict uniform requirements for outside workers.
