TIL Benedict Cumberbatch experienced a carjacking while in South Africa for filming. He was demanded drugs and money, tied with shoelaces, forced on his knees to be executed but in the end the kidnappers fled.

I know this was probably a little traumatic for Benedict, but how strong were those shoelaces?
