It’s just as well that it’s not the original, some nut bar protestor just threw a piece of cake at it.

Whether it is the original or not, explain how this could be a copy if the original was never finished? A copy of unfinished work would be unfinished as well.
I thought i read somewhere that the Mona Lisa was a self portrait of Davinci.
