TIL Despite the MCAS system on 737 MAX causing crashes in the simulator Boeing hid the MCAS problems from the FAA to avoid any additional costs and declined “stupid” requests for pilot training maintaining it was not needed. Boeing promptly blamed the pilots when the MCAS failed and they crashed.

It must be nice to have so many senators and congressmen in your pocket.
Shame on Boeing. Glad to see Airbus take the crown for most sold jets two years in a row. Airbus last year sold 3x as many compared to Boeing.
WELL… if we had laws in this country, if we had enforcement, if there was a way to bring charges against these murderers and corporation… this shit would stop yesterday.
As it is… laws for the poors and murderers skate in the USA
