Still impressive.
Speaking as a Dutchie: yes and no. Yes, we produce a lot of food. And yes, we export a lot of food. If you look at absolute values.
But we also *import* a lot of food that we then *export* again. This amount counts towards the export, but we didn’t grow it ourselves. Just import export, to borrow a phrase.
This being said, it is also true that we have a University of Wageningen that is considered the Stanford of food production. In our country a lot of bleeding edge food technology is pioneered and what is more, made ready to roll out commercially.
