TIL Dr. “Miracle” Max Jacobson, a/k/a “Dr. Feelgood,” gave famous clients (John and Jackie Kennedy, Mickey Mantle, Elvis Presley, Marlyn Monroe, Tennessee Williams, Elizabeth Taylor, and scores more) amphetamines and steroids until his license was revoked in 1975.
