TIL folk singer Jackson C. Frank (1943-1999) only released one album and suffered from mental health issues which halted his career. Although he died destitute and unknown, his music has been cited as an influence and covered by such personages as Paul Simon, Nick Drake, Sandy Denny, and Bert Jansch
