TIL guitarist Noodles of punk rock band The Offspring was a high school janitor when the band became a mainstream success, but promised his boss he would work the whole year. A student recognized him while he was working and told him “Man, what are you doing? I just saw you on MTV!”

Interesting band. Noodles was a janitor and Dexter has a PhD in molecular biology lol
He also used to buy them alcohol when they were all underage, that’s the reason why he is in the band
