TIL In 1991, Janusz Kamiński was the cinematographer for the Vanilla Ice movie Cool as Ice. Three years later Kamiński went on to win an Academy Award for his work on Schindler’s List. He later won for the films Amistad, Saving Private Ryan, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, War Horse, and Lincoln.
