Yet another reason I don’t live in Japan. The other reasons, I can’t afford to move there, I can’t afford to live there, I don’t speak the language and I don’t wanna live there. Other than that, this sucks…
Meanwhile across the water in Korea, it’s unheard of for a woman to take her husband’s name upon marriage.
