*ITER will not produce enough heat to produce net electricity and therefore is not equipped with turbines to generate electricity. Instead, the heat produced by the fusion reactions will be vented. The DEMO-class reactors that follow ITER are intended to demonstrate the net production of electricity.*
Looks like we’re still a ways off, but hopefully there is success with this.
