TIL Marie Antoinette, Queen of France, was accused of single-handedly ruining France’s finances. Official estimates claim court expenses alone were 7% of France’s total budget but the real figure was a lot higher. She was given the name “Madame Déficit” during the French Revolution.

Madame Déficit is a pretty big flex to be fair.
I’d be interested to see an alternate timeline where the accountants are able to convince France that it cant afford to support the American Revolution

Doesn’t matter what happens when you have a woman to blame. We watched that in the USA all last year when they tried to shit on every democrat female in politics…. And then introduced bobert and hgh gal as the Republican answer. It’s weird how save the environment for our kids was seen as a bad thing…. Mainly by people with children….
