TIL: Observing Ramadan in northern communities can be much easier or much more difficult depending on time of year (in terms of fasting between sunrise and sunset).

They can just use Mecca time or the closest major city time
I live in Canada and in the summers the fast is up to 18 hours or so. At least the winter gives a slight reprieve
This post says so little and yet, so much.
Science doesn’t care about your stupid manufactured religious rules.
Some might say a religion founded from the word of an almighty being might have taken the seasons into account.
Isn’t Ramadan the same general time every year?
