They can just use Mecca time or the closest major city time
I live in Canada and in the summers the fast is up to 18 hours or so. At least the winter gives a slight reprieve

Science doesn’t care about your stupid manufactured religious rules.
Some might say a religion founded from the word of an almighty being might have taken the seasons into account.
Isn’t Ramadan the same general time every year?
