TIL of the Kangina – a Afghani traditional practice that preserves fruits into the winter months. It is made of wet clay-rich mud, molded into a bowl shape and sun baked. When dried, the fruit – often grapes – are sealed inside with more serving of mud to form a closed, air-tight vessel.
