TIL Robert Lincoln (Abraham’s son) was pushed into the path of an oncoming train and saved by Edwin Booth (John Wilkes’ brother). Robert was at or nearby for the assassinations of his father, Garfield and McKinley, making him so superstitious about it that he vowed never to meet a president again.
