do they check one by one in shrimp farms? i mean shrimp farm has fuckton of shrimps. i can’t even imagine how they’d do it.
TL;DR a hormone made in the eyestalk is needed to mature the ovaries. Which will happen after the cut in 3 to 10 days. Plus the newly dim lighting help set the mood. Side note it’s been observed Tiger prawns regenerate eyesight in 6 months.
