TIL straw can be made from agave fiber and it took only 1-5 years to be biodegraded, about 200 times faster than traditional plastic. No more soaky paper straw !!!

I just don’t use a straw.
I would be very interested in if they are better than all the alternative to plastic straws [(plastic straw bans being a disability issue)](https://creakyjoints.org/advocacy/plastic-straw-bans-bad-for-people-with-disabilities/) especially in terms of safety (from injury or allergy), flexibility and usefulness.
