TIL: Sylvester Stallone approached Queen for the right to use Another One Bites the Dust for Rocky III but they declined. So he asked Survivior to write a song. They came up with Eye of the Tiger and the rest is history.

There’s more to this story. The song “Your’e the best” was also written for Rocky but turned down and ended up being used in the Karate Kid instead.
The rest is history. Queen is one of the most loved and successful bands in history, and Survivor is a one-hit wonder.
